More than 20 twenty years ago, women began banding together and asking everyone to “Think Pink” in an effort to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer research. These efforts have resulted in early detection, better treatments, and increased survival rates for women diagnosed with breast cancer.
It's time to ask men to “Do Blue”! Prostate cancer remains the second leading cause of cancer deaths for men. And while annual prostate cancer deaths and breast cancer deaths are nearly identical, funding for prostate cancer research is a fraction of what breast cancer research receives every year.
But men don’t want to hear statistics, they want to eat ribs, bbq, have a beer and listen to some Blues! That’s why the Gale Street Inn in partnership with Smoque BBQ, Wrigley BBQ, Lagunitas and Wichita Packing Company are hosting our first Do Blue Dinner to benefit prostate cancer research at Northwestern.
$50 per person donation includes food, drink and entertainment.
