You will learn how to design, architect, and code
Cross-Platform Mobile/Tablet Apps and Games
Microsoft Visual Studio 2013, C#, Portable Class Libraries, and Xamarin.
Each session in this series will build upon each other and show coding techniques to enable you to Publish your Mobile and Tablet application
for Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8
to participate in the
GA Tech Programming Contest
In addition, this series will show how you to add Android and iOS projects to the develop natively with C# and share code with Portable Class Libraries.
Microsoft Technical Developer Evangelists will provide instruction and guidance to help you progress in building your apps.
Upon completion of the App Series, you will be prepared for the
(GA Institue of Technology Mobile App Development)
Students will need to bring laptops running Windows or
a Mac running dual boot Windows partition.
Publish your Windows 8 and/or Windows Phone app
and Submit your App Link for the Contest to
by April 20th
Participants may earn Extra Credit in classes
and Winners will be awarded:
1st - Oculus Rift
2nd - Dell Venue 8 Pro device
3rd - $100 Gift Card
