Join Tata Communications in building more connected collaboration systems! (#collabhack13)
$50K in cash prizes as well as $25K to fund the winning company through an acceleration program will be awarded! Additionally, you will have the opportunity to get in front of leaders in communications and collaboration solutions!
The problem: the industry has come up with a myriad of collaboration tools over the past two decades from high-definition telepresence to beautifully designed group project management environments. These tools are meant to make it easier for people to collaborate across space and time, but what most share is a failure to gain widespread adoption. Instead, teams revert to audio conference calls or emailing around docs and updates as the “at-hand” and universally available tools of choice, despite the obvious limitations of both.
The challenge to hackers: develop collaboration systems that will enhance teamwork and be appealing in some new ways for people to want to adopt them. Collaboration tools can be for real time or non-real time and for same-space or collaboration at a distance.
July 12th-13th, Tata Communications will host a Hackathon dedicated to building the next big thing in bridging the gap so teams are able to work together, regardless of whether they're across the room or across the globe! We’re looking for the next collaboration tools that will become as ubiquitous and easy as a phone call or email.
It’s never too early to start forming teams and brainstorming ideas! Search for ‘The Future of Collaboration’ on Bizzabo or click here to see who else is attending and connect before the event.
