Event Details

 Michael Weingarten, Director, NCI SBIR Development Center and Jennifer Shieh, AAAS Science & Technology Policy Fellow will be at Mission Bay campus to describe the SBIR and STTR programs to fund and support small biomedical technology companies, policy changes that now make venture capital backed companies eligible and tips for writing a strong application to this competitive program.  Michael and Jennifer will be available during the afternoon from 3 pm to 6 pm for one-on-one meetings.  You will need to send a one page overview or executive summary by July 22 to kyra.davis@ucsf.edu.
