Dev Bootcamp is launching in Chicago in April, but we can't wait that long to start helping aspiring web developers make progress toward their goals.
On Monday, February 18th, we'll gather at TechNexus in Chicago for an all-day workshop led by Dev Bootcamp instructors Jen Myers & Dave Hoover. They will guide us through a day of web fundamentals, such as the Ruby programming language, HTML & CSS for web design, and SQL for querying databases.
The day is geared for web dabblers and aspiring programmers who want to take one step closer to understanding how to develop software for the web. Participants will get a glimpse of what a day at Dev Bootcamp feels like, which means lots of mentoring, a little lecturing, lots of coding, yoga, and collaborating in a social learning environment.
Come learn with us!
Contact Elliott Garms with any questions, especially if you're unsure about whether you're ready to spend the day with us, or you're convinced that you need to be at the event despite the fact we're sold out.
We're happy to have the support and encouragement of our local partners:
When & Where
Dev Bootcamp pioneered the short-term, immersive developer bootcamp, a model that transforms beginners into highly employable web developers in a matter of months. The 18-week curriculum, and one week of career training, teaches the technical skills people need to work as a web developer, but also the interpersonal skills that are critical to working in dynamic, cross-functional engineering teams. With more than 2,100 graduates to date, and locations open in San Francisco, Chicago, New York City, San Diego, Seattle, Austin and soon Washington, D.C., Dev Bootcamp continues to lead the industry through innovation and expansion.
