Fundamentals of Photography: Depth of Field with Michael Nadler
Tuesday, January 22, 2013 from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM (PST)
Los Angeles, CA
Learn to use Depth of Field to determine what’s in focus and what’s not in focus in your photograph. This class will help you understand how to use f-stops (aperture) to determine the Depth of Field for creative effects. Knowing when to shoot wide open or stopped down will help you take control of your photography.
There will be a hands-on demo where students will shoot a large and shallow DOF in order to learn this concept as well as when to focus manually or AF and how that affects your image. This 3-hour hands-on photo class is part of the series “Fundamental Photography”, and will teach you the building blocks of photography.
What to Bring:
Bring your DSLR camera (no point and shoot cameras) and user manual (can be downloaded from the camera manufacturer) to class, and most of all, your enthusiasm and eagerness to master your camera!
