Fundamentals of Entrepreneurial Finance
Saturday April 13th from 1pm - 5pm
Dave Chariton, Miners Mills, Inc.

When it comes to finance, most entrepreneurs only care about one thing; getting investors. However, there are various other aspects of finance and accounting that entrepreneurs need to understand in order to run their businesses better. This workshop is designed for any entrepreneur who is either seeking or has just rasied an early round of funding.

Student Takeaways:

By the end of the workshop, students will understand how to:

  • Develop financial projections for pitch decks
  • Keep track of cash burn and the need for funds
  • Discuss funding terms and capitalization structures with investors

Please bring a laptop with Excel installed.

About the Instructor:

Dave Chariton is a "part-time" CFO and strategic advisor to start-ups. He graduated from MIT with an Economics degree and received his Masters from Stanford. He has spent the last couple of decades doing entrepreneurial work in the technology, entertainment, and finance fields.
