Blind Pilot was just in Colorado to open for The Shins and The Head & The Heart at Red Rocks. Now one of the finest Oregon bands is coming back to play a Fuel/Friends House Concert. Yeah -- it's gonna be pretty rad.
I've loved their redolent, soulful folk since I first heard it, and it has been exciting to watch them grow as a band, touring all over the world. This house concert will also be opened by one of my new favorites, Tyler Lyle, returning to Colorado Springs after his last (in-credible) house concert with me in the spring. He is a stunning new talent, and to see the two together, well -- this is going to be a jaw-droppingly exceptional night.
HOW IT WORKS:
It's really essential that every person coming to this show procures a ticket through this EventBrite page. I need to make sure that I can cap the crowd, since this one has a potential to fill up. If too many people show up, it jeopardizes my ability to continue to do really special things like these nights of music. So please, use the above ticketing system to give your info. We suggest a $20 donation per ticket, which all goes to the bands, and have made it easy for you to pay here through this site (preferred, so I don't have to handle a bunch of cash), or give your donation at the door (click "Other Payment Options" above), but every person coming needs to get their name on the list through the above ticketing system.
THE MAGICAL NIGHT ITSELF:
There will be chairs set up for seating, or you can sit on the floor. You can bring a few beers if you like, but remember this is a house concert and not a party. Parking will be on the street in the community; please be respectful to my neighbors when arriving and leaving. Come prepared to be amazed; it is going to be a special night.
