From Photo Student to Working Pro - Careers Perspectives from Tim Mantoani and Sean Arbabi
Come join San Diego ASMP on Wednesday October 10th at 7pm for an informative discussion with two great speakers. Tim Manotani and Sean Arbabi will share their experiences on what it has taken to go from photography school to successful working pro, in 20 short years.
Tim and Sean met at Brooks Institute in the late 80's, and although their careers have taken different paths, both have created and maintained successful, thriving photography businesses. They will share their experiences of attending Brooks and how they first got started in the industry. This enlightening meeting will focus on their business workflows and how they've changed over the years, the various interactions with clients and getting the work, how they have stayed on the right path to achieve their personal and professional goals as well as the many successes and failures of a 20 year photographic career. A Q&A session will follow, along with the opportunity to purchase signed copies of their books.
This lecture will have information valuable to photographers of all levels and promises to be a fun evening besides! Be sure and sign up early as space is limited!
