On Friday night, Natural Gourmet Institute is transformed into an intimate dining room, where NGI’s Chef’s Training Program students and instructors prepare a three-course vegetarian Friday Night Dinner that is innovative, delicious and beautifully presented.
Dinners are Prix Fixe and BYOB.
Raw Eggplant-Avocado Salad dressed in Agave-Lemon dressing atop a bed of Arugula
Potato and Shitake Croquetas baked crisp and finished with a Fig-Olive Tapenade
Vegetable Paella of sweet cinnamon-infused shortgrain brown rice with folded vegetables, lemon braised Lacinato Kale, spiced Seitan Chorizo, and grilled White Asparagus.
Spiced Peach Compote baked with the ripest of peaches
Orange Zested Pastry served with a Spiced Chocolate Sauce aside a Sangria Sorbet
10% of proceeds from tonight's Friday Night Dinner will go to Whole Planet Foundation, a non-profit organization established by Whole Foods Market. They provide grants to microfinance institutions in Asia, Africa, the Americas and the Middle East, who in turn develop and offer microenterprise loan programs, training and other financial services to the self-employed poor.
