French Culture Nights & French Savoir Faire

Often, in the New York Night Scene, French DJs had been associated with House Music and E.D.M exclusively. Well, it is time for a change.

With DJ Poska, one of the pioneer of the Hip-Hop and R'n'B in Paris in the mid 90's up to this day, be ready for a shake up!! Between Mix-Tapes & major compilations gold certified, he is a specialist of djing at the GLISS-EXPO FRANCE for 6 years, also, a tremendous Party dj who travel across the world, from Africa to Venezuela, Switzerland, Portugal, Canada, etc... capable to bring you from the past to the present and backwards, eclectic and musical as well. He has now settled in NYC, try to show what the best urban scene from France has to offer. Also, he has two seasoned DJ from NY, DJ Mak-Len, originally form Paris, leaving in NYC since 2006, working with the ADG group and resident DJ of the French Culture Nights. Dj Twin-Tee is the US Import in this night of groove and bounce, originally for Florida and a part of ADG and teacher at the prestigious Scratch Academy. The party will take place in the amazing scenery of Time Square, at Supernova, the rooftop/Bar of the Novotel on Broadway and 52nd St. Let's celebrates the end of the summer with a bang, outside it's always the best - and inside if weather not permitting!!!

For over fifteen years, DJ Poska has refined his art and mixes now almost as he breathes. Evenings,
mixtapes, radio shows, compilations, production, direction .... the guy excels in all areas of his art.
Stung by the virus of hip hop early on, this young Parisian rapidly learned the art and technique of
turntablism. His progress was fast and impressive. During his first stunt in 1996 as a duo with DJ Doze, they finished third at French DMC championship. DJ Poska has forever solidified himself into the history of French hip hop as being among the pioneers of the Mixtape movement alongside DJ Cut Killer and Clyde. His mix tapes, freestyles, remixes, contain his signature style showcased on his very first commercially successful project, What's The Flavor: His unique style seamlessly combines the pulse of French hip hop and the latest and hottest Hip Hop straight from the streets of NY and LA. Domestically, these "tapes" showcase the cream of French rap and highlight the best freestyles in the anthology of French Hip Hop i.e. Diam's, Sniper, Oxmo Puccino, Disiz fever, Pit Bacardi, Busta Flex, Time Bomb ... The series "What's The Flavor" exceeds 50 mixtapes, and has even been released officially via Universal in the spring of 1998. It was later released on labels such as Virgin and Sony.
For most DJs, having accomplished all of the above would be satisfiable, but not for him! " Whats the
flavor" is only one of the many projects of Poska; His next endeavor, record label "Funky Maestro",
released several official remixes, soundtracks and well received Hip Hop & RNB albums via Sony France. He has spun and been the host of various major radio shows such as Generations, Skyrock, FG, etc

Born and raised in Jacksonville Fl., DJ Twin-T made the big move to New York in 2012 and enrolled in the DJ Certification program at Scratch DJ Academy, and went on to graduate later that year. She is the co–founder of the “Women on Deck” DJ Collective, and has worked tirelessly to provide a platform for female DJ’s to showcase their talents. In 2013 she was voted Madam of the Mix “Crowds favorite DJ” honor. With her cool demeanor, and re-assuring smile she continues to win audiences over. DJ Twin-T brings about a different style and vibe to the art form which will make the music sound that much sweeter

Born in Burgundy, France and moved to Paris when he turned 19. Always a fan of Hip Hop and Electronics music, he decided to start spinning after seeing the DMC World Championship in Paris in 1998. Olivier started to play in private parties first and with Hip Hop artists, in lounges and club around Paris. He moved to New York in 2006 and played as a pillar DJ with ADG Group and his partners DJ Tropic and DJ Ed Funk between Brooklyn, Queens and Manhattan.
