Event Details

aug 9thTickets: $10 adv., $13 dr. Straight from the historic and vibrant center of music that is the Bay Area, by way of Argentina and Puerto Rico, Cha Ching is here and is making new original music. Featuring Uri Macchiavello (vocals/timbales), Adriana Marrero (vocals) Eli Goldlink (piano/vocals), Bil Hager (bass), Chris Heath (drums), Tony Owen (guitar), and Jordan Wilson (tres/vocals). Cha Ching is a mixture of salsa, cumbia, reggaeton, and samba. This funky East Bay latin band plays afro cuban rhythms with engaging "coros y pregones" and their music is sure to have you dancing all day and night! Troubaducks: Music for the Otherworldly. Nouveau Creole. Universal Diaspora Pop. French/Caribbean gets psychedelic blues. Angus Martin on accordion/percussion/vocals, Jordan Epcar with guitar/back vocals. (Headlining band): Oakland band, Fresh Juice Party, is a refreshing blend of message and medium. Part rock opera (complete with circus theatrics and giant puppets) and part political pulpit. Their lyrics speak of revolution and change, and seek to touch the mind and heart. Meanwhile, their deeply satisfying grooves keep the feet happy. They don't just play a show... they throw a party!
