Did you know that Rethreaded partners with 15 different companies that employ women who have been affected by the sex trade from all over the globe? That equates to the freedom and employment of over 1,500 women! Join us for a night of advocacy as we highlight two short films featuring our Freedom Partners, Thistle Farms and Freeset. At this event we will have all of our hand-crafted products available for purchase, giving you the opportunity to directly benefit the lives of the 1,500 women employed locally and globally!
This event will be held at Vineyard Christian Fellowship Church (the old Royal Palm Theatre) located at 751 Atlantic Blvd Atlantic Beach, FL 32233.

Curious about who these companies are and the women they benefit?
Thistle Farms is a social enterprise that is run by the women of Magdalene. By hand, the women create natural bath and body products that are as good for the earth as they are for the body. Purchases of Thistle Farms products directly benefit the women by whom they were made. Currently, Thistle Farms employs over 40 Magdalene residents or graduates in the Nashville, Tennessee area.
Freeset is a fair trade business offering employment to women in Kolkata, India trapped in the sex trade. Freeset opened its doors in 2001 with twenty women brave enough to trust a couple of foreigners and seize the opportunity to leave the sex trade behind. Every woman who finds freedom through Freeset also brings freedom to her family. They find hope for a brighter future and the means to make it a reality. As the business has grown, a positive community has emerged calling itself the "Freeset family. This family not only supports its own members, but impacts on the wider community.
