This workshop focuses on the Internet as a research resource and covers the critical skills and strategies needed to master Internet researching. In this interactive environment, participants will learn simple and advanced techniques for finding and evaluating information found on the Internet.
Demonstrate an understanding of the Internet as a research source.
Create effective internet searches using keywords, Boolean operators, and other search techniques.
Demonstrate an ability to identify and use different types of internet finding aids including search engines and subject directories.
Locate and critically evaluate information sources on the Internet.
