Join WALKSacramento and the California Department of Public Health to learn how to conduct your own community walk audit. These assessments are great tools for identifying the changes needed to improve safety and security for students walking and biking to school.
Learn how to:
* Plan a successful event with the right people in the room.
* Lead your community walk with confidence.
* Use your walk audit to influence positive change in your community.
Walk audits are an excellent first step in any program directed towards safety, physical activity, and community enhancement. With this training, atendees will leave with a clear understanding of how to organize and conduct an impactful assessment in their community.
