Turn Your Life Story into a One-Person Show

What does Lily Tomlin, Chazz Palminteri, and Whoopi Goldberg have in commonne? They all got discovered from doing one-person shows.  The stories that you tell your friends could be translated into a show as producers, development people, and network executives are scouring small theaters in search of the next break-out talent.
Join Judy Carter, comedy coach and author of the "Comedy Bible," Mark Travis, internationally acclaimed one-person show writer and director, and Racquel Lehrman, specializing in public relations and production of one-person shows.  This 90 minute Teleseminar will cover a number of topics.

How to
  • turn a standup set into a one-person show
  • avoid the five biggest mistakes talent makes
  • pick stories to build a show around
  • get from idea to opening night
  • turn family members into compelling characters
  • promote a one-person show on a shoe string
  • actually make money from producing a one-person show
