Event Details

Slow Food San Francisco invites you to tour The Dump!

With one of the nation's most progressive recycling and composting programs, San Francisco's Recology provides collection, recycling, compost, and disposal services.

Join us for a fascinating look behind the scenes that includes their Scupture Garden, the Artist-in-Residence studio, a video presentation and more!

We have a limited number of FREE tickets, but you must sign up to reserve your space.

• The tour takes place at 401 Tunnel Ave., San Francisco, CA 94134, and begins at 10am.

• Tours take approximately two hours and involve stairs, hills, and walking on uneven surfaces. Please let us know ahead of time if an individual who cannot walk up stairs and hills or is in a wheelchair will be attending so we can make alternative arrangements.

• Visitors must wear closed-toe, comfortable walking shoes (no sandals).

• For safety reasons, tours are not appropriate for children under nine years of age.

• Rain cancels.
