Please join us on August 19, 2014 for an evening event for families with children on the autism spectrum or with sensory processing disorders from 6:45pm-8:45pm brought to you by Mystic Aquarium & Sensations Charitable Foundations.
This evening event is completely free for families or groups with children on the autism spectrum or with sensory processing disorders. This event features quiet areas, visual supports, outdoor "free play" zone, supportive staff and access to select aquarium exhibits.
The outdoor aquarium exhibits- beluga whales, seals and sea lions and the outdoor free play zone will be open from 6:45pm-8:30pm. The indoor exhibits including the main exhibit floor and the Ocean Exploration Center will be open from 6:45pm-8:45pm.
The following exhibits will not be open: Sting Ray Touch Pool, Birds of the Outback, Penguin Exhibit, Marine Mammal Observatory and Foxwoods Marine Theater.
Please note that this free event is only for this evening. If you are interested in visiting Mystic Aquarium during regular daytime business hours regular aquarium admission rates will apply.
