FREE INTRODUCTORY CLASS ON SATURDAY APRIL 6. Taught by Ian MacAllister-McDonald, unAUTHORized is an 8–week intensive writing group for youth (18—25). Participants will write a minimum of three short plays (10—15 minutes).The program culminates with a weekend-long festival of stage readings by professional actors of unAUTHORized. The eight week session begins on April 20. Classes are held on Saturdays, from 10AM to 1PM at the Beverly Hills Playhouse, 254 South Robertson, Beverly Hills, 90211. The program is limited to ten students and costs $350. Contact Ian at Ian MacAllister-McDonald is a writer, director and educator from Portland, Maine. His plays have been produced or developed by SoHo Rep, Playwrights Horizon, Moving Arts Theatre Co., The Blank Theatre, The Veritas Ensemble, Theatre Masters, Loyola Marymount University, Brown University, American Repertory Theatre, The Great Plaines Theatre Conference, American Theatre for Higher Education and The Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival, among other places.
