Event Details

Join us for a free bicycle safety course Thursday, Septemebr 4th at 12PM in McDougal center

 HGS room 119.  Bicycle Safety training will cover state and local laws pertaining to bicyclists, accident avoidance including common situations where accidents occur on roadways and how to avoid them. We'll also cover some bicycling tips, bicycle maintenance info, and the proper use and sizing of helmets to keep you safe on the roads of New Haven!

The 100 attendants will receive a free helmet, cosponsore by EHS and McDougal Grad Student Life! If you miss these bike safety classes, these are also offered regularly by Yale Environmental Health & Safety. This event is part of the 2014 Yale GSAS orientation and is intended for new GSAS students & partners.
