Billy Chia of Digium will be leading the Advanced Asterisk Class.
Billy Chia joined Digium as a Training Specialist in 2010 after serving as a VoIP System Administrator. During his time at Digium, Billy has helped to revamp the Asterisk Advanced curriculum and dCAP Exam. He also voiced "Asterisk Essentials" the first ever online Asterisk course. The 6 hour seminar will cover a introduction to Asterisk integration technologies such as AMI, AGI, database integration, advanced endpoint configuration and emerging technologies such as WebRTC in Asterisk 11. This intermediate-level technical lecture takes the next step in developing Asterisk solutions beyond basic configuration and dialplan scripting. A pre-requisite knowledge of Asterisk, Linux and programming is not required, but will allow a participant to receive the most from the workshop.
