Kathy K. Ferguson owner of Key Recovery Solutions, LLC offers cash flow producing financial services on a national basis. She is the National V.P./Training & Marketing Director for MoneyQuest Corporation where she currently is responsible for clientele throughout the U.S. and has been a guest speaker and has offered financial seminars, collection seminars, C.E. courses, and clinical hours for multiple organization & associations throughout the years.
She also represents Cost Segregation Services Inc. (CSSI). CSSI is the company offering the services that she will be speaking about at Thursday’s meeting. She has represented them for the past 7 years. CSSI is an experienced and qualified national company that has performed well over eight thousand IRS defined engineering-based cost segregation studies on commercial properties for over 13 years. They now provide asset valuations to assist the CPAs in applying the new tangible property regulations.
She has been in the business of assisting companies with cash flow producing services for over 29 years. Kathy is known as the “Cash Flow Specialist” throughout the U.S. by Commercial Property Owners, CPAs, Financial Planners, Consultants, Commercial Lenders, Commercial Real Estate Brokers, Contractors Architects and others. She has assisted many CPAs and their clients in the application of cost segregation across the nation to various types, sizes and ages of properties including dental, medical, veterinarians, hotels, banks, auto dealers, manufacturers, restaurants, warehouses, residential rentals, investment properties and many other types of commercial properties.
She is currently the liaison for the New Orleans Dental Association (NODA) and has been their preferred provider for over twelve years. She’s in touch with close to a thousand Dentists in Louisiana and Mississippi alone, working closely with their CPAs and Tax Professionals. She is part of the CSSI team of presenters that host webinars and onsite presentations for CPA firms and state and local tax societies. Along with David Deshotels, who started with CSSI in 2006 and currently serves as Executive Vice President. David holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from LSU and twenty plus years in technical sales. His primary responsibilities involve sales and marketing initiatives for the implementation of cost segregation services and asset valuation studies to assist Tax Professionals in applying the Tangible Property Regulations.
Together they have recently been offering CPE courses to CPAs on the New Tangible Property Regulations and Cost Segregation.
They have Provided awareness to CPA’s and CFP’s on the opportunity for their clients to access cash flow through accelerated depreciation of commercial properties, while Giving an overview of what Cost Segregation is and how it works. They specialize in helping Financial Planners to know how to identify clients that can take advantage of the new disposition regulations found in the new Tangible Property Regulations and demonstrated how to start a dialog with their clients that have had renovations in the past.
These informative courses have raised awareness and have given an overview of how to apply the most up to date tax strategies that dramatically increase cash flow and drastically lower taxes by lowering taxable income, thereby creating cash flow for investments.
