Fourteenth Annual Stanford Undergraduate Psychology Conference
Saturday, May 17, 2014 from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM (PDT)
San Francisco, California
London, United Kingdom
History and Mission
The Stanford Undergraduate Psychology Conference (SUPC) was founded by Stanford undergraduate George Slavich in 2001 and it has been run by undergraduate Stanford students ever since. SUPC's mission is to promote psychological science and the professional development of psychology students by facilitating professional networking and the sharing of high-quality psychological research. It accomplishes these goals by serving as a showcase for undergraduate research and provides an opportunity for participating students to make valuable contacts with Stanford faculty, graduate students, and each other.
All people must register for the Conference. There are two types of tickets available:
- Presenter: Any individual who will be presenting an oral or poster presentation; includes breakfast and lunch Saturday
- Spectator: All other individuals, including friends, family, supervisors, teachers, students, and attendees; includes breakfast and lunch Saturday
Additionally, all attendees can purchase a printed Conference Program, which includes biographical information for each speaker, scheduling information, and all of the full-length abstracts being presented at the conference. A limited number of condensed versions of program (without abstracts) will be available at the conference.
What to Expect
Check in will be in the early morning, and breakfast will be served shortly after. The first round of presentations will follow a short address from the conference administrators, after which lunch will be served in the courtyard. A keynote address by renowned psychologist Dr. Philip Zimbardo will follow the lunch, and the rest of the presentations will be given. We ask everyone who registers to attend the presentations, so as to support their fellow researchers and learn about the cutting edge research others in the field have been involved in.
We look forward to welcoming you to the
14th Annual Stanford Undergraduate Psychology Conference!
