Join us for the premiere screening of Four Sisters, a conversational short film about life after a sibling's suicide. Enjoy happy hour food, drink, and music from 6-7 p.m., the screening of the film at 7 p.m. with a panel discussion afterwards with the filmmaker and women who are featured in the short. All proceeds above costs will go towards suicide crisis intervention and grief groups in the Austin area.

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

All ages are welcome, but only adults over 21 will be able to consume alcohol at the event.

 

What are my parking options at the event?

There is some parking in the neighborhood surrounding Vuka, and guests can also park at the school for the deaf.

Every year, tens of thousands of people die by suicide.

Four Sisters is a film about the people who are left behind. Living just a few miles from each other in Austin, Texas, the four women in this film each lost a brother to suicide, and each one of them tells the story of how they have found a way to move forward in their own lives.
