Event Details

Kick up your heels and party like it’s 1859 at Four Mile Historic Park’s annual fundraising event and auction!

The Four Mile Rendezvous will be held on Wednesday, September 10, 2014

We'll begin the evening in The Grove, the intimate lawn area adjacent to the Four Mile House Museum - a Denver Landmark and Denver's oldest standing structure. Dive right into all the fun with 'pig' races, wine bottle ring toss, raffle prizes, silent auction, a photo booth, live music, an open bar, and delicious cuisine provided by Relish Catering & Events.

At the close of the silent auction (approximately 7:30) we'll move into the Grant Family Education Cneter for a special performance of “The Perils of Packer” by the Burden of Spoof, a Denver area group of attorneys and judges who have been presenting satirical musicals for various bar associations and community groups  since 1994. In songs and dialogue, “The Perils of Packer” recounts the tale of Colorado’s notorious cannibal Alferd Packer and his 1883 trial in Lake City, Colorado.  In keeping with Four Mile’s Colorado history theme, the performance is bound to tickle your funny bone and add to the jollity of this year’s event.

Proceeds from the Four Mile Rendezvous support Four Mile's mission of education and historic preservation by providing over 40,000 visitors with engaging community events, 13,000 youth with free or reduced cost outdoor education programs, as well as continued preservation of the Four Mile House Museum.
