Workshop Cancellation Policy:  Cancellations made 30 days or more prior to event will receive a full refund. Cancellations between 8 and 30 days of the event will receive a refund for the paid amount, less a $100 per person cancellation fee. If your cancellation is made with less than 8 days before the event, we are happy to transfer your registration to another team member in your company. There will be no refund for cancellations less than 8 days before the event.

Betsy Allen grew up a small child, in a small town, next to a large corn field in Iowa (Newton, ex-home of Maytag).  After being fired from her first real job (after babysitting), she set her sights on Harvard Business School where she graduated 10 years later. Betsy started and sold two businesses and since 1990, she has been consulting with companies like Johnson & Johnson, McDonald’s, Microsoft, Pelican Wire, The World Bank, and the Abu Dhabi Government.  

Betsy has a gift for learning just enough to be dangerous at lightning speed (she does live in the Thunderstorm capital of the world), making sense of multifarious situations and facilitating teams to produce practical approaches/ solutions.

Clients speak of her vision, skill, intuition, authenticity and willingness to ask the hard questions in a helpful way. A skilled Strategist, and Sales Transformation Wizard, clients count on her as a go-to person for those, “where do we go from here” “How do we get from here to there” and “oh shit” moments. She has repeatedly helped big and medium-sized businesses analyze and quantify today’s talent, develop them and double sales in 24-36 months. Once hired by the Abu Dhabi Government to help Abu Dhabi regain market share from Dubai, Betsy trained Sheiks (the equivalent of the US Cabinet to the President) in Influential Presentations. Betsy’s clients (sometimes the same one) span the globe and she is a highly sought after and skilled business strategist especially in the sales transformation, medical device and manufacturing arenas.

She has experience working in a vast array of sectors, yet Betsy is most passionate about working with companies that have a broader global sustainable impact. Tenacious about helping leaders and organizations thrive, not just survive, she has exceptional experience working with large and medium-size manufacturers, service, public and family businesses to facilitate success.

Prior to founding Gaining Results, Inc. Betsy helped drive growth in new markets as an executive, business owner and entrepreneur in the US. Knowing that doing well and doing good are not mutually exclusive she has served as a Southwest Chamber of Commerce board member for 10 years, presenter and ambassador Every Voice Engaged, volunteer for the Pace Center for Girls, American Heart Association, The Red Cross and others.

She loves what she does and would do it even if she won the lottery tomorrow (she has yet to buy a ticket). Her credentials include: BBS from University of Iowa, MBA from Harvard Business School, Certified Gazelles International Executive Coach, Certified Speaking Professional, Certified Management Consultant, Certified Quality and more.  Being certifiable, among her proudest accomplishments include: certifications is MOK (mother of Katherine) who is now a lovely adult making her unique mark on the world while traveling extensively with Delta, raising venture capital, facilitating successful conflict resolution sessions (when folks said it wouldn’t happen), and getting ranked 3.5 in tennis after 40.

As CEO at Gaining Results Inc. and author of five books, soon to be six, Betsy partners with inspired individuals and industry leaders to gain results, respect and revenue.
