About the Presenters

David Chavez - www.wearestrategy.co

David Chavez is the founder of Assured Strategies, a strategic-planning coaching company in Las Vegas. Chavez’s firm leads smart, savvy executives who have built successful businesses at the sacrifice of their personal lives, financial livelihoods and mental health and helps them develop new, structured approaches to managing and running their firms.


Chavez’s background in being able to understand and coach high-level business leaders grew from his experience as a military vet, from working with high-level firms such as Arthur Andersen and the Greenspun Corp. and from running his own businesses. In fact, Chavez has started, grown and sold five of his own enterprises.


As a result, he can relate to the challenges his clients face, not because he’s read about them in books but from his own, personal experience.


Today, Chavez spends the majority of his time guiding executives on how to build teams that can execute more successful strategies. He also facilitates strategic-planning sessions and meetings. Chavez is known for rolling up his sleeves to help clients get the job done and develop winning plans.


Chavez is a specialist and certified coach in the Gazelles system, a proven, structured approach to developing and executing strategy. He also is a Vistage International Chair, providing professionally facilitated peer-advisory groups that help CEOs, business owners and senior executives become better leaders, make better decisions and ultimately achieve better results.

Rony Zagursky is a strategic coach with Assured Strategies, a strategic-planning coaching company. He is a specialist and coach in the Gazelles system, a proven, structured approach to developing and executing strategy. Rony recently relocated to the United States from Mexico City, Mexico and is residing in San Diego. He has and continues to work with various organizations to accelerate revenue and profit throughout Mexico and is pleased to have the opportunity to provide companies in the United States with the same success. Over the years Rony has been effective in transforming organizational culture and alignment to achieve teamwork, profit, and overall triumph.


Rony passion for business began when he completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering. Then continued his education receiving an Executive Master in Direction of Industrial Business, Gazelles International Certification, Strategic Interventionist from Robbins Madanes Institute, and a Certified Facilitator and Coach of Global Novations, Frost & Sullivan and Coach in a Box. Combined with his on the job training and experience, Rony has developed the skills to motivate and assist executive leaders to achieve greatness.


Rony developed the base of his knowledge and experience over the eight and a half years he worked with Nestle in Mexico, Switzerland and Dominican Republic. At Nestle he held titles such as: Customer Distribution Outbound Transportation Manager, Best Practice Manager for SAP, Key Account Manager for International Market, and Team Leader and Business Annalist for GLOBE Implementation. He then went on to work at Proepta International before focusing his assistances and knowledge to working full time with CEO’s and their leadership to achieve desired results.


With the knowledge and experience Rony has attained over the years he has advanced his areas of specialties in business development, change management, strategic planning, supply chain in regards to supporting the sales function, project management, operational performance and organizational development. He has spent a lot of time working with seasoned organizations to become unstuck and move forward to meet goals and restore company morale. Rony is very passionate in promoting and implementing change to execute a successful strategic plan.
