Jay Eum is a Co-Founder and a Managing Director of Translink Capital. Jay is responsible for Translink's investments in Carbonite (NASDAQ: CARB), Chartboost, Enterprise DB, Livescribe, Peel, Quixey, SoundHound and YuMe. He is also responsible for supporting Translink's portfolio companies with their customers and partners, primarily in Korea. Most recently, Jay was head of Samsung Ventures America. He was responsible for starting up the U.S. operations for Samsung Investment Corp. Prior to joining Samsung, Jay was an investment officer with the Silicon Valley office of Vertex Management, a global VC firm headquartered in Singapore. Jay received his MBA degree from Stanford University and an M.S. in Biochemistry and B.S. in Chemistry from Seoul National University.
Adam Levin joined Crosslink in 2012 and evaluates investment opportunities in Consumer Internet and E-Commerce. Prior to joining Crosslink, Adam was part of Meebo Inc.’s business development team primarily growing product adoption among premium media companies as well as large game and video sites. Adam began his career at Goldman, Sachs & Co. as an Analyst in Investment Banking focused on Industrials and Business Services. He received his BA in English from the University of Pennsylvania, and an MBA, Management, from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
Jeff Tannenbaum joins Blue Run Ventures with over 15 years leadership experience building consumer web companies in the entertainment, mobile and technology industries. He has structured partnerships with companies including the New York Times Company, Perseus, as well as numerous online/offline publishers. Jeff founded and oversaw all business activities at PhotoCrank. In less than three years, he grew the company from a Silicon Valley start-up to the leading social photo entertainment platform. Before PhotoCrank, Jeff was Co-Founder at DreamFront where he transformed the company’s vision of interactive books into the widely popular series, the Digital Detectives Mysteries.
