Craig Jacoby of Cooley specializes in representing high growth companies and their investors and is the Chair of Cooley's Emerging Companies group. He has helped to form, finance and advise hundreds of emerging businesses in areas such as Internet and digital media, consumer products, clean technologies, software, medical devices and business services, and he has led more than 100 financing transactions in the past five years, with an aggregate value of more than $1 billion.
Jon Soberg of Blumberg Capital has over 17 years of experience as an executive, entrepreneur, financial analyst and a consultant. He has held senior management positions in both start-ups and large corporations, including Ditech and Adforce, which had a highly successful IPO. He is also actively involved with Wharton, where he is part-time faculty in the Marketing Department for the Global Consulting Practicum.
Dave Samuel of Freestyle Capital is an experienced executive with a proven ability to identify market trends and build companies from the ground up. A serial entrepreneur and Internet pioneer, Dave has specialized in software & media since 1994. Prior to Freestyle, Dave, as President, co-founded Grouper.com, a website specializing in Internet Video in 2004. In August 2006, Sony Pictures Entertainment acquired the company for $65 million. In early 1996, Dave, as CEO, founded Spinner.com, the first and largest Internet music service. In May 1999, AOL acquired the firm for $320 million.
