Los Angeles, CA

Yes, there's a pickle factory in LA! Kruegermann Pickles is still owned by the Kruegermann family, since 1896. The venture began in Germany, but moved to Los Angeles in the 60's to flee communist Germany. The tour will start here to see the "old world" ways of pickling, and then join Patricia Perez to embark on a journey through the culturally rich and diverse neighborhood of Elysian Valley.
