Newly Elected Compton Mayor Aja Brown made headlines recently when she became the youngest person elected to run the “hub city” so named because of its location in the near geographical center of Los Angeles County. The city also boasts a major tributary of the LA River, Compton Creek, which is site to one the beautiful natural-bottomed stretches of the River system. Join this tour to meet this dynamic young leader to hear her vision for bringing positive change to her city and for tapping the potential of the river as an important part of its future. The tour will meet in the parking lot of Cliff's Texas Style Burritos.
