The New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH) in collaboration with NYC Coalition for a Smoke-Free City, on June 20th, is hosting a symposium to share insights on implementing policies and practices that foster the reduction of tobacco use and secondhand smoke exposure. The goals of the symposium are for community leaders to learn about New York City’s five point tobacco reduction plan and steps organizations large and small have taken to help make their employees, members, and communities healthier.

·         Knowledge of how to use EpiQuery, the publicly-available DOHMH data resource

·         Examples of what organizations can do to promote and support tobacco control including:

o   Smoke-free Housing from a property manager perspective

o   Smoke-free Housing from a tenant perspective
