Join Global Greengrants Fund for a panel discussion about climate change and what people from Indonesia to Nigeria to Boulder are doing about it.
Nnimmo Bassey is a Nigerian activist, author, and Global Greengrants Fund board member. He is also on Oilwatch International’s steering committee, was one of Time’s 2009 Heroes of the Environment, and has won multiple internationally acclaimed awards.
Nonette Royo is a Global Greengrants Fund board member and the executive director of the Samdhana Institute, based in Indonesia and the Philippines. As a human rights lawyer, she defends indigenous peoples, natural resources, and land rights in Southeast Asia.
Leslie Glustrom is the co-founder of Clean Energy Action, a Boulder-based nonprofit dedicated to transitioning our economy from fossil fuels to clean energy. She has been pivotal in drawing the connection between coal and climate change.
Terry Odendahl is the executive director and CEO of Global Greengrants Fund. With three decades of experience in philanthropy, including as director of various funds and nonprofits, Terry has also served on the faculties of Yale University’s Program on Nonprofit Organizations and the University of California, San Diego Women’s Studies Program.
Amy Goodman had to cancel at the last minute due to a personal issue. She sends her deepest regrets and urges people to attend the event, to learn about the crisis of climate change, the state of climate activism around the world, and how people are making a difference.
