The rally will take place in Washington, DC, during Presidents Day weekend (Sunday, February 17).

The bus we're organizing from RI will be the red eye. We're leaving at 1:00am on the morning of the 17th so we'll arrive in DC by 9:00am with time to wander around the Capitol a little before the rally begins. We'll be returning shortly after the rally ends so we can get back to Rhode Island in the wee hours of Monday morning.
We have done our best to keep tickets affordable. If you are of limited means, please select the reduced fare option, and if we run out of those tickets please get in touch with me to see what can be worked out. Alternatively, if you can't make it but would like to help others make the trip, please make a donation. Thank you!
The bus will stop at two pick up locations; one in Providence and one in South County. The Providence departure stop will be on West River Avenue, one block south of the Stop and Shop at the corner of West River and Branch Avenue. From Branch, turn onto West River, go to the stop sign, turn right and then right into the parking lot. The Richmond stop will be just west of the intersection of Route 138 and Rte 95 (22 Kingstown Road, Richmond, RI 02898). First pick up will be at 1am on February 17th in Providence, second will be at 1:45am in Richmond. You can use either bus, but PLEASE BE ON TIME
Our drop off/pick up spot in DC Drop is the intersection of 15th St SW and Independence Ave SW (near the Washington Monument).
Although both buses are full, people are carpooling to the rally. You can join one or organize your own here: http://www.ridebuzz.org/events-group/forward-climate-rally-20098.html
