Presents...

A Forum on Respect

Our lives are busy, filled with distractions and messages that are often contrary to God’s ultimate plan for our lives.  We can easily get caught up in the confusion of our society, and forget who we are as created beings.  Join us as we dive in to this important topic of R.E.S.P.E.C.T

FEATURING…

Dr. Ray Guarendi

Topic:“Keeping the Culture from Raising your Children”

 Summary:

Cell phones, computers, music and video games are constantly in our children’s faces, teaching and engaging them. How do we protect them in this high tech world? How do we model and teach them proper peer and adult relations without the screen?

 John Popp

Topic “Made in His Image”

Summary:

We are loved by God and made in His image and likeness. The ability to respect ourselves comes from acknowledging our place in God’s creation. Who are we? Why were we created? What is our purpose? These questions seek to find the true meaning of our very existence, and give us firm reasons for the respect that God expects us to give ourselves and others.

Rita Basalla

Topic “Have We Forgotten the Fouth Commandment?”

Summary:

What does the Fourth Commandment really mean? Parents are role models for youth on their journey to becoming Christian citizens. How can we teach and model Respect today and honor this commandment today?
