Register by October 21 for a chance to win a hand-blown STARworks Pumpkin!

Join us for the 2013 Central Park NC Annual Gathering at STARworks.  This event is free.  STARworks Open Studios is $10.00.  Sign-in starts at 3:30 p.m.  Program begins at 4 p.m.

STARworks Open Studios - 4 to 5:30 p.m.

Try your hand at turning pottery, blowing glass or forging metal with the help of experienced instructors.

Evening Program - 5:30 to 9 p.m.

Keynote Speaker - Margaret "Tog" Newman

For more than a decade, Tog Newman served as chair of the NC Arts Council.  She also served as chair of the National Assembly of State Art Agencies.  She is a visionary leader who has been at the helm of many state and national arts, education and nonprofit organizations.  She currently serves as Board Chair of the NC Center for Nonprofits.  Ms. Newman will discuss the role of arts in building a new NC economy.

STARworks Glass Demonstration

STARworks Glass Coordinator Nick Fruin, Wet Dog Glass founder and Central Park NC board member Eddie Bernard and STARworks Artists in Residence have a special glass demonstration planned.
