@FoodStartups has partnered with San Francisco and Marin Food Bank to help raise awareness and money for their cause.
Join us for a special holiday charity event on Thursday, April 24th from 7-9PM at Aquitaine Wine Bar and enjoy wine, cheese and conversation around food and tech.
Each week, the San Francisco Food Bank serves more than 147,000 people. Help feed hungry people this holiday season by attending the FoodStartups holiday party and fundraiser for the San Francisco Food Bank. For every $1 donated, the Food Bank can distribute $6 of food. Let's do our part to support SF FoodBank.
Festivities include a brief introduction to the Food Bank. Then wine, cheese, and networking. Ticket includes admission and one glass of wine and cheese. Proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to SF Food Bank to support their mission. This charity event will be a great opportunity to connect with other food and tech aficionados.

Hunger is a serious problem in our community – with one in four residents at risk of hunger in San Francisco and Marin. Every day, the San Francisco and Marin Food Bank sources, collects, sorts, inspects and repackages thousands of pounds of food, then distributes it to soup kitchens, neighborhood pantries, school programs and seniors in need. Food Bank programs serve more than 147,000 people each week throughout San Francisco and Marin counties, and will distribute 46 million pounds of food to the community this year alone – enough for more than 105,000 meals every day. Sixty percent of what is distributed is fresh fruits and vegetables.

Opened by Michelin-starred chef extraordinaire, Laurent Manrique (whose cooking during his days at Aqua is legendary), the space is comfortably funky, eclectic, warmed by yellows, woods, and unique light fixtures glowing off a pressed tin ceiling.
Aquitaine serves an impressive wine list of uncommon varietals from Gascony, France’s southwest corner where Manrique hails from.
We reserved the downstairs space ("The Cave") with comfy couches for our group.
