Foodopoly: The Battle Over the Future of Food and Farming in America is the new book by Wenonah Hauter.
Ms. Hauter is the executive director of Food and Water Watch, and is one of the nation's leading healthy-food advocates.
She takes dead aim at the massive consolidation and corporate control of our food system that have resulted in the current food and public health crises. "Foodopoly is an essential guide for anyone who wants to reform our food system, from seed to table."
She will discuss her book and take questions from the audience. This will be followed by a book signing for those who purchase Foodopoly.
Ms. Hauter will also appear on campus at CSU Sacramento at 3PM in the Orchard Suite of the University Union.
