Please join us for “Food Systems and the 21st Century City,” the kick-off event for the March 13–15 Feeding Cities: Food Security in a Rapidly Urbanizing World, a university-wide conference,including a special presentation of the Penn IUR Annual Urban Leadership Forum.

Through its Annual Urban Leadership Forum, Penn IUR recognizes exemplary innovators who have demonstrated the vision and leadership necessary to address today’s most pressing urban issues. This year, with the Feeding Cities conference, we celebrate global, national, and local leaders who are building resilient, food-secure, and livable cities in the 21st Century.

Ridwan Kamil, Founder and Principal of Urbane Indonesia
The awardees will discuss the impact of urbanization on agriculture, diets, and food security. Reception to follow.
