Is your kitchen as safe as it could be? Join Dr. Sanja Ilic, assistant professor of human nutrition specializing in food safety, and Chef Jim Warner as they discuss ways to keep the foods you eat safe.


In this popular class, you will learn food cleaning, storing and handling tips, as well as how to prepare food when your immune system is compromised. Our experts will also provide practical tips on how to maximize health and safety in the kitchen.

JamesCare for Life

JamesCare for Life programs are designed to empower cancer survivors and their primary caregivers with new skills, knowledge and a sense of community.
 

Class offerings focus on introducing techniques, strategies and modes of expression intended to improve the quality of life of persons affected by a cancer diagnosis. Many participants have found these tools valuable and have successfully incorporated them into their everyday lives.
