Food Photographer Gerardo Luna and Food Stylist Jen Stewart will be giving a class about the Basics of food Photography and Food Styling.
The goal of the workshop is for you to understand not only the basics of food photography, but the things you can do to improve your current skills and photos. No professional camera is needed, but always great if you have one. Please bring the camera you are currently using. We believe that before you invest in a better camera, you need to learn how to use properly the one you already have.
The workshop will consist of 2 short presentations followed by questions, and the chance to get our hands on Board with some practical shots. Pelagia Trattoria will provide some dishes for us to experiment our new photography skills.
Also Pelagia will open their rooftop Garden for us! As you might know by now, Pelagia is an incredible setting for our photography class. Not only because the incredible food that comes out of Chef Brett Gardiner’s kitchen, but also because we will have the perfect combination of Natural and Artificial light for you to experiment with your camera.
Pelagia has open their doors to us for this amazing time with food photography and food enthusiasts. Please join us. It will be a pleasure to share with you our knowledge and get a chance to know each other and share our Food Photography and Food Styling stories.
We will be sit in a private separate area in the restaurant. The workshop is open to 30 people.
We encourage you to secure your space as soon as possible.
We also invite you to submit your photos after the event. Pelagia will select between 6-8 of the best photos to use in their social media and editorial opportunities. In exchange the photos would be accompanied by a credit identifying the photographer.
The cost of the workshop is only $40.
