Food Allergies 101
Wednesday, September 25, 2013 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM (CDT)
The Asthma & Allergy Foundation, St. Louis Chapter (AAFA-STL) is hosting “Food Allergies 101,” a free food allergy panel discussion and informational meeting for the St. Louis community on September 25, from 6-7:30pm at Missouri Baptist Medical Center, located at 3015 N Ballas Rd., St Louis, MO 63131. This evening's topic will be centered around teens and food allergies.
To Missouri Baptist and Parking
Missouri Baptist Medical Center, 3015 North Ballas Road, is centrally located at the intersection of Interstate-270 and Highway 40/I-64. Take the Ballas Road exit from Highway 40 or I-270. Once on Ballas, take an immediate right onto Jess G. Harmon Drive to enter the campus. Follow the signs toward the North Parking Lot (you will go right at the fork and it’s the surface lot on your immediate left).
Walking Directions From the North Parking Lot
Walk toward the south edge of the parking lot (toward the main building) where you will see two banks of stairs leading down to a drive. Take those stairs down and notice another set of stairs across the drive going up to the main building. Take this sidewalk (just east of the main building) and enter the double doors on your right (east of the main building).
DO NOT park in the ER lot.
Food allergies are unfortunately on the rise and many families, schools, and the community as a whole, are learning how to handle them and keep each other safe. Learning that you or your child has food allergies can be a very scary discovery and many families are living in fear about the allergic attack that their child may have. Join us to learn more about food allergies and what you can do to protect and educate your teen.
