Folding it Together: Art and Engineering -Based Active Origami

A team of faculty from engineering and visual art are developing origami structures that fold on demand to achieve large shape change. The team will discuss their research work and how it could be used in applications ranging from tiny medical devices to large aerospace structures. Clips from the award-winning film, Between the Folds, will be shown.
