Are you struggling to master the business side of the photo business? Focus on Your Business with Judy Herrmann & Richard Kelly, will help you take your career where you want it to go!
What is Focus on Your Business?
With lectures, readings, exercises and a unique live discussion format we've dubbed "Office Hours," our Focus on Your Business online education series is designed to take you from the most fundamental question - how do I launch my photography career? - all the way through to adapting your established business to a changing marketplace.
Along the way, we'll cover all the information you need to know - marketing, sales, pricing, licensing, paperwork, releases and more! After years of giving 2-3 hour classes and seminars, we're building a series that will let us share everything we've learned about starting, running and growing a successful photography business.
Where do I start?
The series begins with a free introductory lecture, What You Really Need to Know, which provides a soup-to-nuts overview of the business skills all professional photographers need to master. Click here or on the screen grab below to launch the recording.
NOTE: If you'd like to jump to a specific segment within the recording, click on "TOGGLE ME" in the black box on the left to reveal navigation bookmarks.

How does it work?
Each lecture will be released for on demand viewing per the schedule published in the Course Details section. The Office Hours are best attended live but anyone who can't join the live discussion can send us questions via email and we'll address those as well - much like a radio show that takes live calls from listeners but also responds to listener emails. Please note, questions covering the same topics may be combined and generalized or treated as a single question so we can cover as many questions as possible.
We will record each Office Hours session and bookmark the recording so you can jump to the discussions you're most interested in. We will do our very best to distribute the bookmarked recordings to all registrants within 36 hours. All lectures and recorded office hours will be accessible for personal use for 6 months after the course ends.
