FNSA is hosting our annual pre-convention and leadership retreat September 24, 2016, at the University Tower UCF Colleges of Nursing in Orlando! During this event, we will discuss everything you need to get ready for our FNSA Convention: Together, Stronger, Bolder!
We will be hearing from two leadership speakers who will be presenting about how they strive for excellence in leadership! Meryl Williamson, MSN, CRNA and Dr. Rhonda Goodman, Ph.D., ARNP, FNP-BC, NCN, AHN-BC
Meryl Williamson began her career as a nurse after receiving her BSN from Andrews University in Berrien Springs, MI. After working as a senior staff nurse in neurology at New York University Medical Center and an ICU nurse at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital, she continued her education. Completing her MSN with a focus in anesthesia, Meryl has worked as a certified registered nurse anesthetist (CRNA) for over 20 years. Throughout her career, there have been several opportunities to lead, both with and without a title. Her passion for nurses and leadership underlies her belief that people rise to the level of conversations around and within them. Meryl is currently employed by Team Health Anesthesia where she serves as co-chief CRNA. Her attempts at social media can be found on Facebook and Instagram under "Behind the Drape" and @bhindthedrape on twitter.
