Pinellas County Extension Educators will be on hand to teach you how to design and maintain a Florida-Friendly Yard. This one hour overview will familiarize you with the Nine Principles of Florida-Friendly Landscaping™. Attendees will receive a copy of The Florida-Friendly Landscaping™ Guide to Plant Selection & Landscape Design, a 110 page booklet with photos and descriptions of hundreds of plants suitable for a Florida-Friendly Yard.
*On a trial basis, Weedon Island Preserve Cultural and Natural History Center will be open from 9am-4pm on Wednesdays (February, March, April 2013) in addition to Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
