Flooding that occurred last fall not only deposited trash and debris on many parks and open space properties, but also eroded riparian areas and damaged native habitats. During these projects, we will spread native seeds, plant willow poles, and/or plant trees and shrubs. These measures will help minimize weed establishment and future erosion. Staff are busy planning details, and the locations will be determined about a week before each project. Projects run from 1pm-4pm, and the minimum age is 12 with adult supervision.
