Celebrating the Sustainable Development Goals with Peace Boat and the United Nations Department of Public Information (UN DPI)
The event (7:00-8:30 pm) will include presentations relating to partnership for the Sustainable Development Goals, Peace Boat's programs, and its Ecoship Project - the world's most sustainable cruise ship planned to sail in 2020 as a flagship for climate action - and cultural performances including music, dance, and an Eco-Fashion show. A networking reception will follow until around 10pm.
Peace Boat, an NGO in Special Consultative Status with the UN is a campaigner for the Sustainable Development Goals. With the cooperation of the UN Department of Public Information, Peace Boat is now proud to have the Global Goals logo painted on the ship, and is travelling the world to promote and inspire action to achieve the goals.
Schedule:
5:00 pm - Doors open and ship tours
6 pm - Event begins
8 pm - Reception
9 pm - Event ends, disembarkation
Please arrive early to account for check in and security.
Registration closes on October ## and space is limited.
Please make sure your name and ID number as registered matches your ID information. Port security officers will check your ID.
Light refreshments will be available during the event, but please plan dinner before or after the event.
Public parking is not available at the port.
