Would you like to have more classroom time to develop student skills? Do you find yourself spending more time in class going over homework and having less time to introduce content? Then the Flipped Classroom might be the solution. Your students will be introduced to content via web videos and can spend class time on developing skills.
Research has shown that students retain the knowledge learned longer and do better on formative assessments. In this workshop we will go over teaching strategies to use in a flipped classroom and how to create videos to introduce new content, refresh student’s prior knowledge and to review for assessments. Prior technology skills required are Blackboard, PowerPoint and how to use a video camera.
