Registration for the Region 16/Beacon Falls Liibrary Online Summer Reading Program opens on Friday, June 13th. Do you need help getting your child(ren) registered? All grade levels are participating!
Stop in the library on Saturday, June 21st anytime between 9:30 - 12:30 and our librarians will give you all the help and information you need. There is no required reading list for Pre K- Grade 8, but does your child need help picking out a book? The librarians can help with some suggested reading lists including books that match the Fizz Boom Read theme and the 2015 Nutmeg Children's Book Award Nominees. We also have a very good selection of children's eBooks in our OverDrive collection.
Students in grades 6-12 who participate will be eligible for weekly gift card drawings. They can even access the program on their mobile devices! Students in Pre-K through grade 5 who register online should also stop in the library to get their packets for Miss Shari's in-house program to be eligible for the great prizes she has available.
Hope to see you soon.
